What is a LEBS?

LEBS is the Portuguese acronym for “Limites de exposição baseados em saúde (LEBS)” (Limits of exposure based on health), which is essentially the same as an HBEL (health-based exposure limit) such as ADE, or PDE. Often, in ANVISA regulations, they use the term synonymously with HBEL, ADE, and PDE.
